An evolution of the renowned Lewmar Ocean Winch, the Lewmar
30ST EVO Self Tailing Manual Winch is now built with
features to make your cranking experience easier. It’s easy to
install, use and maintain. The size 30 uses 8-12mm ropes.

Easy to use
To operate, simply fit the winch handle in top of the winch spindle
and turn in a clockwise to produce a rachet action or
anti-clockwise direction to drive the winch drum. The sleek, low
profile stainless steel feeder arm minimises rope trap preventing
it from snagging.

Simple servicing
No tools are required to service a Lewmar EVO winch, simply unscrew
the top cap with your fingers to remove the drum and provide access
to the proven gear train. If you try to put a Lewmar EVO winch
together wrongly, it will become very clear that you’ve got it
wrong; it is impossible to service the winch and put it back
together incorrectly. Safety and convenience has been designed into
every EVO winch.

Multiple styles and finishes
EVO winches are available in black or grey alloy and chrome bronze
for the cruising sailor.

Wave Spring Jaw and Feeder Arm
The integrated investment cast stainless steel feeder arm
completely covers the top of the winch, preventing a rope trap
above the Wavespring jaws. The feeder arm position can be adjusted
to smoothly feed the rope out of the jaws and into the cockpit.
